Isaiah 28:2-4
Living Bible
2 For the Lord will send a mighty army (the Assyrians) against you; like a mighty hailstorm he will burst upon you and dash you to the ground. 3 The proud city of Samaria—yes, the joy and delight of the drunkards of Israel—will be hurled to the ground and trampled beneath the enemies’ feet. 4 Once glorious, her fading beauty surrounded by a fertile valley will suddenly be gone, greedily snatched away as an early fig is hungrily snatched and gobbled up!

Isaiah 28:2-4
New International Version
2 See, the Lord has one who is powerful(A) and strong.
Like a hailstorm(B) and a destructive wind,(C)
like a driving rain and a flooding(D) downpour,
he will throw it forcefully to the ground.
3 That wreath, the pride of Ephraim’s(E) drunkards,
will be trampled(F) underfoot.
4 That fading flower, his glorious beauty,
set on the head of a fertile valley,(G)
will be like figs(H) ripe before harvest—
as soon as people see them and take them in hand,
they swallow them.
