24 Doth the plowman plow all the day, to sow? doth he open, and break the clots of his ground?
25 When he hath made it [a]plain, will he not then sow the fitches, and sow cumin, and cast in wheat by measure, and the appointed barley and rye in their place?
26 For his God doth instruct him to have discretion, and doth teach him.

New International Version
24 When a farmer plows for planting,(A) does he plow continually?
Does he keep on breaking up and working the soil?
25 When he has leveled the surface,
does he not sow caraway and scatter cumin?(B)
Does he not plant wheat in its place,[a]
barley(C) in its plot,[b]
and spelt(D) in its field?
26 His God instructs him
and teaches(E) him the right way.
