²⁰For the ^(A)ruthless will come to an end and the ^(B)scorner will be finished,
Indeed ^(C)all who ^[a]are intent on doing evil will be eliminated,

²⁰The ruthless^(A) will vanish,^(B)
the mockers^(C) will disappear,
and all who have an eye for evil^(D) will be cut down—

²⁰For the terrible one is brought to nought, and the scorner is consumed, and all that watch for iniquity are cut off:
