Isaiah 30:5-7
Legacy Standard Bible
5 Everyone will be (A)ashamed because of a people who cannot profit them,
Who are (B)not for help or profit, but for shame and also for reproach.”
6 The [a]oracle concerning the (C)beasts of the (D)Negev.
Through a land of (E)distress and anguish,
From [b]where come lioness and lion, viper and (F)flying fiery serpent,
They (G)carry their wealth on the [c]backs of young donkeys
And their treasures on (H)camels’ humps,
To a people who cannot profit them;
7 Even Egypt, whose (I)help is vain and empty.
Therefore, I have called [d]her
“[e](J)Rahab who has ceased.”

of adders and darting snakes,(I)
the envoys carry their riches on donkeys’(J) backs,
their treasures(K) on the humps of camels,
to that unprofitable nation,
7 to Egypt, whose help is utterly useless.(L)
Therefore I call her
Rahab(M) the Do-Nothing.
