8 Now go, write it before them on a tablet, and inscribe it in a book, that it may be for the time to come forever and ever. 9 For it is a rebellious people, lying children, children who will not hear Yahweh’s law; 10 who tell the seers, “Don’t see!” and the prophets, “Don’t prophesy to us right things. Tell us pleasant things. Prophesy deceits.

New International Version
8 Go now, write it on a tablet(A) for them,
inscribe it on a scroll,(B)
that for the days to come
it may be an everlasting witness.(C)
9 For these are rebellious(D) people, deceitful(E) children,
children unwilling to listen to the Lord’s instruction.(F)
10 They say to the seers,(G)
“See no more visions(H)!”
and to the prophets,
“Give us no more visions of what is right!
Tell us pleasant things,(I)
prophesy illusions.(J)
