    Where is he who counted the towers?
19 You will no longer see the fierce people,
    a people of a deep speech that you can’t comprehend,

20 Look at Zion, the city of our appointed festivals.
    Your eyes will see Jerusalem, a quiet habitation,
    a tent that won’t be removed.
Its stakes will never be plucked up,
    nor will any of its cords be broken.

Where is the one who took the revenue?
    Where is the officer in charge of the towers?(B)
19 You will see those arrogant people(C) no more,
    people whose speech is obscure,
    whose language is strange and incomprehensible.(D)

20 Look on Zion,(E) the city of our festivals;
    your eyes will see Jerusalem,
    a peaceful abode,(F) a tent(G) that will not be moved;(H)
its stakes will never be pulled up,
    nor any of its ropes broken.
