Isaiah 34:3-5

New American Standard Bible

³So their slain will be ^(A)thrown out,
And their corpses ^[a]will give off their ^(B)stench,
And the mountains will ^[b]be drenched with their ^(C)blood.
⁴And ^(D)all the heavenly ^[c]lights will ^[d]wear away,
And the ^(E)sky will be rolled up like a scroll;
All its ^[e]lights will also wither away
As a leaf withers from the vine,
Or as one withers from the fig tree.
⁵For ^(F)My sword has drunk its fill in heaven;
Behold it shall descend for judgment upon ^(G)Edom,
And upon the people whom I have ^(H)designated for destruction.
