And (D)all the heavenly [c]lights will [d]wear away,
And the (E)sky will be rolled up like a scroll;
All its [e]lights will also wither away
As a leaf withers from the vine,
Or as one withers from the fig tree.
For (F)My sword has drunk its fill in heaven;
Behold it shall descend for judgment upon (G)Edom,
And upon the people whom I have (H)designated for destruction.

And all the host of heaven shall be dissolved, and the heavens shall be rolled together as a scroll: and all their host shall fall down, as the leaf falleth off from the vine, and as a falling fig from the fig tree.

For my sword shall be bathed in heaven: behold, it shall come down upon Idumea, and upon the people of my curse, to judgment.
