Isaiah 34:6-8

New American Standard Bible

⁶The sword of the Lord is filled with blood,
It drips with fat, with the blood of lambs and goats,
With the fat of the kidneys of rams.
For the Lord has a sacrifice in ^(A)Bozrah,
And a great slaughter in the land of ^(B)Edom.
⁷^(C)Wild oxen will also ^[a]fall with them
And ^(D)young bulls with strong ones;
So their land will be ^(E)soaked with blood,
And their dust ^[b]become greasy with fat.
⁸For the Lord has a day of ^(F)vengeance,
A year of retribution for the ^[c]cause of Zion.

    it is covered with fat—
the blood of lambs and goats,
    fat from the kidneys of rams.
For the Lord has a sacrifice^(B) in Bozrah^(C)

⁷And the wild oxen^(E) will fall with them,
    the bull calves and the great bulls.^(F)
Their land will be drenched with blood,^(G)
    and the dust will be soaked with fat.
