⁶ Then the ^(A)lame shall leap like a deer,
And the ^(B)tongue of the dumb sing.
For ^(C)waters shall burst forth in the wilderness,
And streams in the desert.

⁷ The parched ground shall become a pool,
And the thirsty land springs of water;
In ^(A)the habitation of jackals, where each lay,
There shall be grass with reeds and rushes.

¹⁹ Behold, I will do a ^(A)new thing,
Now it shall spring forth;
Shall you not know it?
^(B)I will even make a road in the wilderness
And rivers in the desert.

³ For I will pour water on him who is thirsty,
And floods on the dry ground;
I will pour My Spirit on your descendants,
And My blessing on your offspring;
