^22 (A)I have blotted out your transgressions like a cloud
    and your sins like mist;
return to me, for I have redeemed you.
^23 (B)Sing, O heavens, for the Lord has done it;
    shout, O ^(C)depths of the earth;
break forth into singing, O mountains,
    O forest, and every tree in it!
For the Lord has redeemed Jacob,
    ^(D)and will be glorified^[a] in Israel.

⁷ Thus says the Lord,
    ^(A)the Redeemer of Israel and his Holy One,
^(B)to one deeply despised, abhorred by the nation,
    the servant of rulers:
^(C)“Kings shall see and arise;
    princes, and they shall prostrate themselves;
because of the Lord, who is faithful,
    the Holy One of Israel, who has chosen you.”

^9 (A)In all their affliction he was afflicted,^[a]
    and the angel of his presence saved them;
^(B)in his love and in his pity he redeemed them;
    ^(C)he lifted them up and carried them all the days of old.

²² The Lord ^(A)redeems the life of his servants;
    none of those who take refuge in him will be ^(B)condemned.
