4 For Jacob my servant’s [a]sake, and Israel mine elect, I will even call thee by thy name, and name thee, though thou hast not known me.
5 I am the Lord, and there is none other; there is no God besides me: I [b]girded thee, though thou hast not known me.
6 That they may know from the rising of the sun, and from the West, that there is none besides me. I am the Lord, and there is none other.

4 For the sake of Jacob my servant,(A)
of Israel my chosen,
I summon you by name
and bestow on you a title of honor,
though you do not acknowledge(B) me.
5 I am the Lord, and there is no other;(C)
apart from me there is no God.(D)
I will strengthen you,(E)
though you have not acknowledged me,
6 so that from the rising of the sun
to the place of its setting(F)
people may know(G) there is none besides me.(H)
