4 Our Redeemer, whose name is the Lord of Heaven’s Armies,
    is the Holy One of Israel.

5 “O beautiful Babylon, sit now in darkness and silence.
    Never again will you be known as the queen of kingdoms.
6 For I was angry with my chosen people
    and punished them by letting them fall into your hands.
But you, Babylon, showed them no mercy.
    You oppressed even the elderly.

    is the Holy One(D) of Israel.

5 “Sit in silence,(E) go into darkness,(F)
    queen city of the Babylonians;(G)
no more will you be called
    queen(H) of kingdoms.(I)
6 I was angry(J) with my people
    and desecrated my inheritance;(K)
I gave them into your hand,(L)
    and you showed them no mercy.(M)
Even on the aged
    you laid a very heavy yoke.
