Isaiah 48:19-21
International Standard Version
19 Your descendants would’ve been like the sand,
and your offspring[a] like its numberless grains.
Their name wouldn’t have been cut off
or annihilated out of my reach.
20 “Go out from Babylon, flee from the Chaldeans!
With happy shouts, announce
and[b] proclaim this[c] to the ends[d] of the earth:
Say, ‘The Lord has redeemed his servant Jacob!’
21 They didn’t thirst when he led him[e] through the desolate places.
He made water gush[f] from a rock for them;
he split open the rock, and water gushed out.

New International Version
19 Your descendants(A) would have been like the sand,(B)
your children like its numberless grains;(C)
their name would never be blotted out(D)
nor destroyed from before me.”
20 Leave Babylon,
flee(E) from the Babylonians!
Announce this with shouts of joy(F)
and proclaim it.
Send it out to the ends of the earth;(G)
say, “The Lord has redeemed(H) his servant Jacob.”
21 They did not thirst(I) when he led them through the deserts;
he made water flow(J) for them from the rock;
he split the rock
and water gushed out.(K)
