Isaiah 5:11-12

¹¹Woe to those who rise early in the morning so that they may pursue ^(A)intoxicating drink,
Who stay up late in the evening so that wine may inflame them!
¹²Their banquets are accompanied by lyre and ^(B)harp, by tambourine and flute, and by wine;
But they ^(C)do not pay attention to the deeds of the Lord,
Nor do they consider the work of His hands.

    to run after their drinks,
who stay up late at night
    till they are inflamed with wine.^(B)
¹²They have harps and lyres at their banquets,
    pipes^(C) and timbrels^(D) and wine,
but they have no regard^(E) for the deeds of the Lord,
    no respect for the work of his hands.^(F)
