5 The Lord God has (A)opened My ear,
And I was (B)not disobedient,
Nor did I turn back.
6 I (C)gave My back to those who strike Me,
And My cheeks to those who pull out My beard;
I did not hide My face from insults and spitting.
7 For the Lord God (D)helps Me,
Therefore, I am (E)not disgraced;
Therefore, I have made My face like (F)flint,
And I know that I will not be ashamed.

7 For the Lord God will help me; therefore shall I not be confounded: therefore have I set my face like a flint, and I know that I shall not be ashamed.
