14 Just as many were appalled at you[a]—
his appearance was so disfigured
that he did not look like a man,
and his form did not resemble a human being—
15 so he will sprinkle many nations.[b](A)
Kings will shut their mouths because of him,
for they will see what had not been told them,
and they will understand what they had not heard.(B)

his appearance was so disfigured(B) beyond that of any human being
and his form marred beyond human likeness(C)—
15 so he will sprinkle(D) many nations,[b]
and kings(E) will shut their mouths(F) because of him.
For what they were not told, they will see,
and what they have not heard, they will understand.(G)
