14 Just as many were astonished at you, My people,
So His (A)appearance was marred more than any man
And His form more than the sons of men.
15 Thus He will (B)sprinkle many nations,
Kings will (C)shut their mouths on account of Him;
For (D)what had not been told them they will see,
And what they had not heard they will understand.

14 Just as there were many who were appalled(A) at him[a]—
his appearance was so disfigured(B) beyond that of any human being
and his form marred beyond human likeness(C)—
15 so he will sprinkle(D) many nations,[b]
and kings(E) will shut their mouths(F) because of him.
For what they were not told, they will see,
and what they have not heard, they will understand.(G)
