¹⁷ I was enraged by their sinful greed;^(A)
    I punished them, and hid^(B) my face in anger,
    yet they kept on in their willful ways.^(C)
18 I have seen their ways, but I will heal^(D) them;
    I will guide^(E) them and restore comfort^(F) to Israel’s mourners,
¹⁹     creating praise on their lips.^(G)
Peace, peace,^(H) to those far and near,”^(I)
    says the Lord. “And I will heal them.”
