Isaiah 59:3-5
New American Standard Bible 1995
3 For your (A)hands are defiled with blood
And your fingers with iniquity;
Your lips have spoken (B)falsehood,
Your tongue mutters wickedness.
4 (C)No one sues righteously and (D)no one pleads [a]honestly.
They (E)trust in confusion and speak lies;
They (F)conceive mischief and bring forth iniquity.
5 They hatch adders’ eggs and (G)weave the spider’s web;
He who eats of their eggs dies,
And from that which is crushed a snake breaks forth.
