Isaiah 59:5-6

New American Standard Bible

⁵ They hatch vipers’ eggs and ^(A)weave the spider’s web;
The one who eats of their eggs dies,
And from what is crushed, a snake breaks out.
⁶ Their webs will not become clothing,
Nor will they ^(B)cover themselves with their works;
Their ^(C)works are works of wrongdoing,
And an ^(D)act of violence is in their ^[a]hands.
