I trampled nations in my anger;
I made them drunk[a] in my rage;

A Prayer for Divine Intervention

I will tell of the faithful acts of the Lord,
of the Lord’s praiseworthy deeds.
I will tell about all[c] the Lord did for us,
the many good things he did for the family of Israel,[d]
because of[e] his compassion and great faithfulness.
He said, “Certainly they will be my people,
children who are not disloyal.”[f]
He became their deliverer.

    the deeds for which he is to be praised,
    according to all the Lord has done for us—
yes, the many good things(E)
    he has done for Israel,
    according to his compassion(F) and many kindnesses.

    children who will be true to me”;
    and so he became their Savior.(H)
