Isaiah 63:8-10
Living Bible
8 He said, “They are my very own; surely they will not be false again.” And he became their Savior. 9 In all their affliction he was afflicted, and he personally saved them.[a] In his love and pity he redeemed them and lifted them up and carried them through all the years.
10 But they rebelled against him and grieved his Holy Spirit. That is why he became their enemy and personally fought against them.

Isaiah 63:8-10
New International Version
8 He said, “Surely they are my people,(A)
children who will be true to me”;
and so he became their Savior.(B)
9 In all their distress he too was distressed,
and the angel(C) of his presence(D) saved them.[a]
In his love and mercy he redeemed(E) them;
he lifted them up and carried(F) them
all the days of old.(G)
10 Yet they rebelled(H)
and grieved his Holy Spirit.(I)
So he turned and became their enemy(J)
and he himself fought(K) against them.
