12 But Ahaz said, “I will not ask, nor will I put the Lord to the test!” 13 Then he said, “Listen now, (A)house of David! Is it too trivial a thing for you to [a]try the patience of men, that you will [b](B)try the patience of (C)my God as well? 14 Therefore the Lord Himself will give you a sign: Behold, (D)the [c]virgin will conceive and give birth to a son, and she will name Him [d](E)Immanuel.
