15 And [a]many shall stumble thereon, and fall, and be broken, and be snared, and be taken.

16 Bind thou up the testimony, seal the [b]law among my disciples. 17 And I will wait for Jehovah, that hideth his face from the house of Jacob, and I will look for him.

    they will fall and be broken,
    they will be snared and captured.”

16 Bind up this testimony of warning(B)
    and seal(C) up God’s instruction among my disciples.
17 I will wait(D) for the Lord,
    who is hiding(E) his face from the descendants of Jacob.
I will put my trust in him.(F)
