15 Many will stumble over it, fall, be broken, be snared, and be captured.”

16 Wrap up the covenant. Seal the law among my disciples. 17 I will wait for Yahweh, who hides his face from the house of Jacob, and I will look for him.

15 Many of them will stumble;(A)
    they will fall and be broken,
    they will be snared and captured.”

16 Bind up this testimony of warning(B)
    and seal(C) up God’s instruction among my disciples.
17 I will wait(D) for the Lord,
    who is hiding(E) his face from the descendants of Jacob.
I will put my trust in him.(F)
