¹⁸ Therefore Yahweh ^(A)waits with longing to be gracious to you,
And therefore He is on ^(B)high to have compassion on you.
For Yahweh is a ^(C)God of justice;
How blessed are all those who ^(D)wait for Him.

² O Yahweh, ^(A)be gracious to us; we have ^(B)hoped in You.
Be ^[a]their ^[b](C)strength every morning,
Our salvation also in the ^(D)time of distress.
