17 And I will wait on the Lord,
Who (A)hides His face from the house of Jacob;
And I (B)will hope in Him.
18 (C)Here am I and the children whom the Lord has given me!
We (D)are for signs and wonders in Israel
From the Lord of hosts,
Who dwells in Mount Zion.
19 And when they say to you, (E)“Seek those who are mediums and wizards, (F)who whisper and mutter,” should not a people seek their God? Should they (G)seek the dead on behalf of the living?

I will put my trust in him.(C)
18 Here am I, and the children the Lord has given me.(D) We are signs(E) and symbols(F) in Israel from the Lord Almighty, who dwells on Mount Zion.(G)

19 When someone tells you to consult(H) mediums and spiritists,(I) who whisper and mutter,(J) should not a people inquire(K) of their God? Why consult the dead on behalf of the living?
