Isaiah 9:4-6

4 (A)For the yoke of his burden,
(B)and the staff for his shoulder,
the rod of his oppressor,
you have broken as (C)on the day of Midian.
5 (D)For every boot of the tramping warrior in battle tumult
and every garment rolled in blood
will be burned as fuel for the fire.
6 (E)For to us a child is born,
to us (F)a son is given;
(G)and the government shall be (H)upon[a] his shoulder,
and his name shall be called[b]
Wonderful (I)Counsellor, (J)Mighty God,
(K)Everlasting (L)Father, Prince of (M)Peace.
