⁷ In that time ^(A)a present will be brought to the Lord of hosts
^[a]From a people tall and smooth of skin,
And from a people terrible from their beginning onward,
A nation powerful and treading down,
Whose land the rivers divide—
To the place of the name of the Lord of hosts,
To Mount Zion.

⁸ “Who are these who fly like a cloud,
And like doves to their roosts?
^9 (H)Surely the coastlands shall wait for Me;
And the ships of Tarshish will come first,
^(I)To bring your sons from afar,
^(J)Their silver and their gold with them,
To the name of the Lord your God,
And to the Holy One of Israel,
^(K)Because He has glorified you.

¹³ “Arise^(A) and ^(B)thresh, O daughter of Zion;
For I will make your horn iron,
And I will make your hooves bronze;
You shall ^(C)beat in pieces many peoples;
^(D)I will consecrate their gain to the Lord,
And their substance to ^(E)the Lord of the whole earth.”
