⁵ But your many enemies will become like fine dust,^(E)
    the ruthless^(F) hordes like blown chaff.^(G)
Suddenly,^(H) in an instant,

¹⁸ Yet the Lord longs^(A) to be gracious to you;
    therefore he will rise up to show you compassion.^(B)
For the Lord is a God of justice.^(C)
    Blessed are all who wait for him!^(D)

³¹ For out of Jerusalem will come a remnant,^(A)
    and out of Mount Zion a band of survivors.^(B)
