^23 (A)I have sworn by Myself;
The word has gone out of My mouth in righteousness,
And shall not return,
That to Me every ^(B)knee shall bow,
^(C)Every tongue shall take an oath.

49 “Listen, ^(A)O coastlands, to Me,
And take heed, you peoples from afar!
^(B)The Lord has called Me from the womb;
From the ^[a]matrix of My mother He has made mention of My name.

³ The ^(A)Gentiles shall come to your light,
And kings to the brightness of your rising.

¹⁴ Also the sons of those who afflicted you
Shall come ^(A)bowing to you,
And all those who despised you shall ^(B)fall prostrate at the soles of your feet;
And they shall call you The City of the Lord,
^(C)Zion of the Holy One of Israel.

^2 (A)I will also gather all nations,
And bring them down to the Valley of Jehoshaphat;
And I ^(B)will enter into judgment with them there
On account of My people, My heritage Israel,
Whom they have scattered among the nations;
They have also divided up My land.

⁸ “Therefore ^(B)wait for Me,” says the Lord,
“Until the day I rise up ^[a]for plunder;
My determination is to ^(C)gather the nations
To My assembly of kingdoms,
To pour on them My indignation,
All My fierce anger;
All the earth ^(D)shall be devoured
With the fire of My jealousy.

² For ^(A)I will gather all the nations to battle against Jerusalem;
The city shall be taken,
The houses ^[a]rifled,
And the women ravished.
Half of the city shall go into captivity,
But the remnant of the people shall not be cut off from the city.
