⁷ for your iniquities and the iniquities^(A)
of your^[a] fathers together,”
says the Lord.
“Because they burned incense on the mountains
and reproached Me on the hills,^(B)
I will reward them fully^[b]
for their former deeds.”

¹⁵ Yet My people have forgotten Me.^(A)
They burn incense to false idols
that make them stumble in their ways
on the ancient roads^(B)
and walk on new paths, not the highway.
