Isaiah 9:20-21

²⁰^[a]They devour what is on the right hand but are still ^(A)hungry,
And ^[b]they eat what is on the left hand, but they are not satisfied;
Each of them eats the ^(B)flesh of his own arm.
²¹Manasseh devours Ephraim, and Ephraim Manasseh,
^(C)And together they are against Judah.
^(D)In spite of all this, His anger does not turn away
And His hand is still stretched out.

¹⁰“Then you are to break the ^(B)jar in the sight of the men who accompany you, ¹¹and say to them, ‘This is what the Lord of armies says: “To the same extent I will ^(C)break this people and this city, just as one breaks a potter’s vessel, which cannot again be repaired; and they will ^(D)bury their dead in Topheth, ^[a]because there is no other place for burial.
