7 Do they themselves not blaspheme the good name of the one to whom you belong[a]?

8 However, if you carry out the royal law according to the scripture, “You shall love your neighbor as yourself,”[b] you are doing well. 9 But if you show partiality, you commit sin, and thus[c] are convicted by the law as transgressors.

8 If you really keep the royal law found in Scripture, “Love your neighbor as yourself,”[a](A) you are doing right. 9 But if you show favoritism,(B) you sin and are convicted by the law as lawbreakers.(C)
