James 2:9-11
GOD’S WORD Translation
9 If you favor one person over another, you’re sinning, and this law convicts you of being disobedient. 10 If someone obeys all of God’s laws except one, that person is guilty of breaking all of them. 11 After all, the one who said, “Never commit adultery,” is the same one who said, “Never murder.” If you do not commit adultery but you murder, you become a person who disobeys God’s laws.

New International Version
9 But if you show favoritism,(A) you sin and are convicted by the law as lawbreakers.(B) 10 For whoever keeps the whole law and yet stumbles(C) at just one point is guilty of breaking all of it.(D) 11 For he who said, “You shall not commit adultery,”[a](E) also said, “You shall not murder.”[b](F) If you do not commit adultery but do commit murder, you have become a lawbreaker.
