James 4:14-16

14 ye who do not know what will be on the morrow, ([for] what [is] your life? It is even a vapour, appearing for a little while, and then disappearing,)
15 instead of your saying, If the Lord should [so] will and we should live, we will also do this or that.
16 But now ye glory in your vauntings: all such glorying is evil.

14 Why, you do not even know what will happen tomorrow. What is your life? You are a mist that appears for a little while and then vanishes.(A) 15 Instead, you ought to say, “If it is the Lord’s will,(B) we will live and do this or that.” 16 As it is, you boast in your arrogant schemes. All such boasting is evil.(C)
