¹⁰ They have ^(A)turned back to the wrongdoings of their ^[a]ancestors who ^(B)refused to hear My words, and they ^(C)have followed other gods to serve them. The house of Israel and the house of Judah have ^(D)broken My covenant which I made with their fathers.”

¹⁴ “So as for you, ^(A)do not pray for this people, nor lift up a cry or prayer for them; for I will ^(B)not listen when they call to Me because of their disaster.

¹² When they fast, I am ^(A)not going to listen to their cry; and when they offer ^(B)burnt offering and grain offering, I am not going to accept them. Rather, I am going to ^(C)put an end to them by the ^(D)sword, famine, and plague.”
