22 So the Lord of Heaven’s Armies[a] said, “I will surely[b] punish them! Their young men will be killed in battle.[c] Their sons and daughters will die of starvation. 23 Not one of them will survive.[d] I will bring disaster on those men from Anathoth who threatened you.[e] A day of reckoning is coming for them.”[f]

22 therefore this is what the Lord Almighty says: “I will punish them. Their young men(A) will die by the sword, their sons and daughters by famine. 23 Not even a remnant(B) will be left to them, because I will bring disaster on the people of Anathoth in the year of their punishment.(C)”
