The (A)wild donkeys stand on the bare heights;
They pant for air like jackals,
Their eyes fail
Because there is (B)no vegetation.
Though our (C)wrongdoings testify against us,
Lord, act (D)for the sake of Your name!
Our (E)apostasies have indeed been many,
We have (F)sinned against You.
(G)Hope of Israel,
Its (H)Savior in (I)time of distress,
Why are You like a stranger in the land,
