4 They shall die of grievous deaths; they shall not be lamented; neither shall they be buried; but they shall be as dung upon the face of the earth; and they shall be consumed by the sword and by famine; and their carcasses shall be food for the fowls of heaven and for the beasts of the earth.
5 For thus hath the LORD said, Do not enter into the house of mourning, neither go to lament nor comfort them: for I have taken away my peace from this people, said the LORD, even mercy and compassion.
6 Both the great and the small shall die in this land: they shall not be buried, neither shall men lament for them, nor cut themselves, nor make themselves bald for them:

4 “They will die of deadly diseases. They will not be mourned or buried(A) but will be like dung lying on the ground.(B) They will perish by sword and famine,(C) and their dead bodies will become food for the birds and the wild animals.”(D)
5 For this is what the Lord says: “Do not enter a house where there is a funeral meal; do not go to mourn or show sympathy, because I have withdrawn my blessing, my love and my pity(E) from this people,” declares the Lord. 6 “Both high and low will die in this land.(F) They will not be buried or mourned,(G) and no one will cut(H) themselves or shave(I) their head for the dead.
