Jeremiah 17:14-16

14 Heal me, O Lord, and I shall be whole: [a]save me, and I shall be saved: for thou art my praise.
15 Behold, [b]they say unto me, Where is the word of the Lord? let it come now.
16 But [c]I have not thrust in myself for a pastor after thee, neither have I desired the day of misery, thou knowest that which came out of my lips was right before thee.

15 They keep saying to me,
“Where is the word of the Lord?
Let it now be fulfilled!”(D)
16 I have not run away from being your shepherd;
you know I have not desired the day of despair.
What passes my lips(E) is open before you.
