Jeremiah 17:19-21

¹⁹Thus said Jehovah unto me: Go, and stand in the gate of ^[a]the children of the people, whereby the kings of Judah come in, and by which they go out, and in all the gates of Jerusalem; ²⁰and say unto them, Hear ye the word of Jehovah, ye kings of Judah, and all Judah, and all the inhabitants of Jerusalem, that enter in by these gates: ²¹Thus saith Jehovah, Take heed ^[b]to yourselves, and bear no burden on the sabbath day, nor bring it in by the gates of Jerusalem;

¹⁹This is what the Lord said to me: “Go and stand at the Gate of the People,^[a] through which the kings of Judah go in and out; stand also at all the other gates of Jerusalem.^(A) ²⁰Say to them, ‘Hear the word of the Lord, you kings of Judah and all people of Judah and everyone living in Jerusalem^(B) who come through these gates.^(C) ²¹This is what the Lord says: Be careful not to carry a load on the Sabbath^(D) day or bring it through the gates of Jerusalem.
