Jeremiah 18:15-17
Christian Standard Bible
15 Yet my people have forgotten me.(A)
They burn incense to worthless idols
that make them stumble in their ways(B)
on the ancient roads,(C)
and make them walk on new paths, not the highway.
16 They have made their land a horror,(D)
a perpetual object of scorn;[a](E)
all who pass by it will be appalled(F)
and shake their heads.(G)
17 I will scatter them before the enemy like the east wind.(H)
I will show them[b] my back and not my face(I)
on the day of their calamity.
