Jeremiah 22:21-23 International Standard Version (ISV)

21 I spoke to you when you were secure,[a]
but you said, “I won’t listen!”
This has been your way since your youth,
    for you haven’t obeyed me.
22 The wind will shepherd[b] all your shepherds,[c]
and your lovers[d] will go into exile.
Indeed, you will then be ashamed and humiliated
    because of all your wickedness.
23 You who live in Lebanon,
who build your nest in the cedars,
how you will groan when pains come upon you,
pain like that of a woman giving birth.

Jeremiah 22:21-23 New International Version (NIV)

21 I warned you when you felt secure,
but you said, ‘I will not listen!’
This has been your way from your youth;
    you have not obeyed me.
22 The wind will drive all your shepherds away,
and your allies will go into exile.
Then you will be ashamed and disgraced
    because of all your wickedness.
23 You who live in ‘Lebanon,[a]
who are nestled in cedar buildings,
how you will groan when pangs come upon you,
pain like that of a woman in labor!
