Jeremiah 22:5-7
Living Bible

5 But if you refuse to pay attention to this warning, I swear by my own name, says the Lord, that this palace shall become a shambles.

6 For this is the Lord’s message concerning the palace: You are as beloved to me as fruitful Gilead and the green forests of Lebanon; but I will destroy you and leave you deserted and uninhabited. 7 I will call for a wrecking crew to bring out its tools to dismantle you. They will tear out all of your fine cedar beams and throw them on the fire.

New International Version

5 But if you do not obey(A) these commands, declares the Lord, I swear(B) by myself that this palace will become a ruin.’”

6 For this is what the Lord says about the palace of the king of Judah:

“Though you are like Gilead(C) to me,
    like the summit of Lebanon,(D)
I will surely make you like a wasteland,(E)
    like towns not inhabited.
7 I will send destroyers(F) against you,
    each man with his weapons,
and they will cut(G) up your fine cedar beams
    and throw them into the fire.(H)
