20 The anger[a] of Yahweh will not turn back
    until his doing and until his keeping the plans of his mind.[b]
In latter days[c] you will look closely at it with understanding.
21 I have not sent the prophets, yet they ran.
    I have not spoken to them, yet they prophesied.
22 But if they had stood in my council,
    then they would have proclaimed my words to my people,
and they would have caused them to turn from their evil way,
    and from the evil of their deeds.
