Jeremiah 23:9-11
1599 Geneva Bible
9 Mine heart breaketh within me, because of the [a]prophets, all my bones shake: I am like a drunken man (and like a man whom wine hath [b]overcome) for the presence of the Lord and for his holy words.
10 For the land is full of adulterers, and because of oaths the land mourneth, the pleasant places of the wilderness are dried up, and their [c]course is evil, and their force is not right.
11 For both the Prophet and the Priest [d]do wickedly: and their wickedness have I found in mine [e]House, saith the Lord.
