11 (A)This whole land will be a desolation and a horror, and these nations will serve the king of Babylon (B)seventy years.

Babylon Will Be Judged

12 ‘Then it will be (C)when seventy years are completed I will (D)punish the king of Babylon and that nation,’ declares the Lord, ‘for their iniquity, and the land of the Chaldeans; and (E)I will make it an everlasting desolation. 13 I will bring upon that land all My words which I have pronounced against it, all that is written in (F)this book which Jeremiah has prophesied against (G)all the nations.

12 “But when the seventy years(D) are fulfilled, I will punish the king of Babylon(E) and his nation, the land of the Babylonians,[a] for their guilt,” declares the Lord, “and will make it desolate(F) forever. 13 I will bring on that land all the things I have spoken against it, all that are written(G) in this book and prophesied by Jeremiah against all the nations.
