2 Jeremiah the prophet said to all the people in Judah and Jerusalem, 3 “For the past twenty-three years—from the thirteenth year of the reign of Josiah son of Amon,[a] king of Judah, until now—the Lord has been giving me his messages. I have faithfully passed them on to you, but you have not listened.
4 “Again and again the Lord has sent you his servants, the prophets, but you have not listened or even paid attention.

2 So Jeremiah the prophet said to all the people of Judah(A) and to all those living in Jerusalem: 3 For twenty-three years—from the thirteenth year of Josiah(B) son of Amon king of Judah until this very day—the word of the Lord has come to me and I have spoken to you again and again,(C) but you have not listened.(D)
4 And though the Lord has sent all his servants the prophets(E) to you again and again, you have not listened or paid any attention.(F)
